After searching and visiting timpsons and various key cutters for my Lexmoto bike (manufacturer could not supply) I visited WSM and went here. The guy is old school and used cutting , filing and micrometer and mate me 2 keys. This was my last resort before changing all locks to get a spare ! Cannot recommend this place enough and very cheap ..thanks you

Having unsuccessfully tried to find someone who could supply me with a replacement key for my Power Golf Buggy, I came across The Lock & Key Shop in Meadow Street – Despite others who could not supply me as this was a Chinese Buggy, The Lock & Key shop did, without them I would have to replace the barrell mechanism at significant cost to myself. Can’t recommend this shop highly enough

Amazing price – was quoted £29 for four keys at Timpsons in Worle, paid £12.50 here! Service was friendly but a little slow as main cutter was out on a job. I decided to wait and once he was back it was very speedy. I even managed to buy a key box for a similar price to the one I’d seen on Amazon but was able to handle it and check it met my needs Thoroughly recommend.

I gave atthorisation for a key to be cut and the flat owner came to the shop and yoou agreed to cut a key

Very helpful when i had my car key immobilizer playing up and could NOT Start the car…. A couple of hours later: “faulty immobilizer”… Grrrr… Stupid car. They just copy the key and the transponder!! Happy days

Popped into this shop whilst staying in Weston. Had 2 spare keys cut which my own local keycutter couldn’t do. Didn’t want to try timpsons as so overpriced. Quick service, reasonable price and they work! Thanks would recommend this shop.

A really great specialist shop. I had tried everywhere to get duplicate keys for a wheel clam and hitch lock for the caravan (not having the key numbers). The Lock & Key Shop made the duplicates with speed and skill. I would highly recommend them if you have an unusual/complex key to duplicate

What a lovely little shop. Went in there to get a motorcycle key to get cut. Done in no time for £5.00 bargain.

If you want great service, honest opinion and fantastic prices, ignore the big shops and go local.

Called in to see if they cut keys for motorcycles and Yes they do, basic key for a 28 year old kawasaki and only £7, Timpsons earlier in the week quoted me £30 , one very happy customer

I needed 4 new keys for an apartment. Silly me – saw the sign in WSM High Street for a Timpsons and thought ‘that will be ok’ – but when I got there is was closed down! Oh? What to do? Google showed me a locksmiths just around the corner and a few minutes later I was there. No wonder Timpsons has closed down! LOL. The Lock and Key shop were just brilliant! 2 Yales, 1 Rim CY (whatever that is), and a mortice key for a total price quoted at £12.50. As soon as I said “The price was fine” the guy was on it! Fast, friendly and professional service. Of course the first thing I did on getting back was to test them and sure enough – all worked perfectly. Expert service – and an interesting shop for associated hardware as well.

Hi guys ,bought a vehicle recently with only one key and was advised by seller that Timpson would charge £65 . I sent round emails to local guys and Gavin was the only reply!!!, called into the shop but no blank key on the rack but one would be ordered .Got email yesterday and got key cut today and at a very reasonable price . So all in all top service in these days of mediocrity .Keep up the great work Gavin .Much appreciated .Cheers Steve

Great service and highly recommend! I called 430pm, lovely fella came to me just after 5pm. Old lock removed and new one fitted in about 15 minutes!! Really fair price too. Definitely the best in WSM 💯

Helpful, honest and cheap We recently had our house keys stolen and had to replace 4 identical 5-lever deadlocks. A locksmith we rang quoted £200 to replace the locks themselves. The Lock and Key shop and charged £25 to swap the tumblers around in all four locks and cut us three new keys, after confirming I could remove and fit the locks myself (the locksmith we rang said “it needed an expert”… it took ten minutes and one screwdriver). All done in an hour after getting to the shop, saved us £175. Recommend highly.

Very quick and economic service

Excellent service and good value Only came across the lock and key shop today after googling and glad I did. They gave excellent service at a really good price, and willingly cut my own blank where some others have insisted on only cutting there own product. Friendly, efficient service.Highly recommended. Definitely will go there in the future
